drawings, photographs, prints, and rare books highlighting the
concepts of integrity, justice, peace, and resistance.
Selections from the permanent collection include plates from
the books Jerusalem and Songs of Innocence by William Blake
(1757–1827); the utopian novel News from Nowhere by William
Morris (1834–1896); and, displayed in its entirety, the outstanding
Rivington Place Portfolio (2007), a series of eight prints by
international artists created to raise funds for Rivington Place,
the United Kingdom’s first permanent home for culturally diverse
